There is absolutely no regulation in the dog training industry so any Tom, Dick or Harry can claim to be a dog trainer and charge you for their services. This can be a huge problem because uneducated 'trainers' often do not understand the basics of learning theory, animal behaviour or canine body language. This can lead to exacerbating problem behavior issues bite incidents and ultimately euthanasia or relinquishment. 

You wouldn't allow your child to be taught by a teacher with no education, why accept less for your dog?
